Well yeah, Sam Altman has a trillion dollars and is basically trying to monopolize half of the world's fab output.
So now even micron (crucial, etc) is pivoting to vram so there just is way less new ddr3 and 5.
And any existing ddr3/5 fabs have the option to pivot to vram to make more money.
